Pros:
Crafted Sleep is a new company in 2022 with an expansive selection of mattresses. They offer both hybrids and foam beds in 8-14 inch varieties (all queen sizes can be purchased for less than $1000). Crafted Sleep makes their products here in the US, As of June 15th, their 14 inch king size bed using gel memory foam only costs $729-- most comparable products cost upwards of $1000+. Check out our review below to see if these budget prices will affect quality.
Crafted Comfort & Feel (14" 2-Sided Hybrid Model)
Today we will be examining one model of Crafted bedding; specifically, the 14 2-sided. The product line offers varying degrees of firmness to accommodate different body types and sleep preferences.
The 14 1-sided mattress is softer than average, making it great for pressure relief with a pleasant soft feel. And despite its softness, it does offer good support--you just may need some extra time to adjust after flipping onto your back at night, depending on what kind of sleeper you are. If you're looking for an average amount of suppleness and prefer sleeping on your side or back most often, then this product could be perfect for you!
The mattress does come in dual firmness as well where one side can be ordered firmer and one side softer. This is a great option for not sure what to purchase.
The overall feel of this mattress is nice in medium. You have great back support and pressure relief but can still feel the support of the transition layer and coil layer for deep support.
Crafted Motion Transfer
This model and all of the other Crafted hybrids use a pocketed coil system for their mattress. Independent coils reduce motion transfer when you are sleeping with someone else. In our experience this was very successful at reducing movement. If motion is high on the priority list for you, you will find today's hybrid coils reduce motion a lot compared to innerspring mattresses. If it is the most important thing for you, consider a foam mattress which will perform even better. Crafted Sleep also has several foam options.
Crafted Off Gassing
This company uses Certi-PUR foams along with water-based glues that emit less toxins than other brands' materials. And although natural mattresses often emit strong smells due to their lack of chemicals, an odor is still normal for any type of mattress. Like all brands you will notice a new type of smell but this will dissipate relatively quickly. The mattress can be slept on the same day you open it.
Crafted Edge Support
Crafted hybrid mattresses always include an outermost three-coil row that boasts stronger coils for increased durability and better edge support. When we laid down on the side of the mattress, we never rolled off onto the floor; instead, because these strong coils keep your body weight in place, you can take full advantage of every inch of bed space possible. In addition, sitting on the very edge revealed about a 4-inch sag but still supported our weight without bottoming out. Overall, though, this form factor provided just what was needed during sleeping hours—a supportive sleep surface combined with great ergonomics.
Crafted Sleeping Temperature
All of the Crafted mattress models boast a gel infused memory foam. This type of foam will help move heat away from your body and not trap heat like older, non-gel infused foams do. Additionally, this hybrid model allows increased airflow through the coil unit. We did not experience this mattress sleeping any hotter than most mattresses we have tested. Overall, most people should not have any issue with sleeping too hot in this mattress.

Final Thoughts
This new brand is a must consider. With many design options price ranges and firmness's to pick from they should have what you are looking for. Perhaps the most impressive thing to us is that they have very well-built mattresses, that when compared to many of the more well-known brands they are priced so much lower. The quality has not been spared either. We definitely recommend considering this brand. The 14" 2-sided model specifically, is great for side sleepers in medium and being double sided, should command a longer lifespan.
