Pros:
This detailed evaluation of the Nectar mattress takes into account all of the aspects we consider when determining what makes for a quality bedding solution, including firmness/support, comfort, sleeping hot, and other important factors outlined below.
Nectar Comfort & Feel
Nectar Mattress has one unified comfort level; it is classified as a medium-firm mattress, which would typically range between 5.5 - 7 out of 10 (1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest). This should suit most people regardless of size or weight, accommodating all types of sleeping positions. Softness Scale Meter.
This feel replicates that offered by an inflatable airbed without having any constant need to pump air into it for stability - but without compromising on luxury like other top-of-the-line beds would offer. Unlike traditional beds made from memory foam alone, Nectar actually manages a balance between foam texture and density – light enough to offer support yet dense enough to avoid overheating during sleep. Lastly, though manufacturing may take place in China, our founder’s experience living there speaks otherwise when she promises quality control at its finest during manufacturing and before shipping overseas – assuring no cheap imitation material sneaking through unnoticed.

Nectar Motion Transfer
This all-foam mattress features multiple layers of memory foam over a thick base foam—a combination that always results in minimal motion transfer. Memory foam can absorb excess vibrations quickly and also conforms to the shape of one's body, making it ideal for those who share mattresses or are more sensitive to movement at night. Side sleepers especially enjoy this feature because even when they toss and turn, it barely registers with anyone else on the Nectar mattress. In fact, its motion reduction ability is among the top perks it has going for it!
Nectar Off Gassing
This company uses Certi-PUR foams that emit less toxins than other brands' materials. And although natural mattresses often emit strong smells due to their lack of chemicals, an odor is still normal for any type of mattress. Like all brands you will notice a new type of smell but this will dissipate relatively quickly. The mattress can be slept on the same day you open it for those not super sensitive to smells.
Nectar Edge Support
This mattress provides good edge support. You shouldn't notice any change from the middle of the bed to the side when lying down. This creates a near-fully usable sleeping space that feels comfortable and consistent whether you're a stomach sleeper or someone who prefers to sit closer to the edge. When sitting near the side, however, it will gradually compress under your weight - so it isn't great for frequent use in this position. Overall, because it's made entirely out of foam - this mattress performs how we'd expect for edge support.
Nectar Sleeping Temperature
Memory foam mattresses may help reduce heat retention from other materials found in many mattresses, but pairing them with even thinner foam can still present some problems. This mattress does offer one advantage over others: Firmness Level and Cover. A firmer feel will allow you to rest on top of the material without sinking too deeply into it - which means there's less room for trapping hot air. The TENCEL cover is also softer and naturally breathable - which reduces sweating while sleeping.
